KAYA WALLER began her dance training in Hoschton, GA as a member of Heather Wayne’s Dance Company. In 2022, she moved to Kennesaw, GA to pursue her Bachelor of Arts in Dance at Kennesaw State University, where she is now a senior concentrating in Modern Dance. During her time at KSU, Kaya has trained under esteemed choreographers and educators, further developing her technique, artistry, and performance voice.

With over twelve years of dance experience, including seven years of competitive training, Kaya has earned numerous accolades for her work as both a soloist and ensemble dancer. She is currently a member of the KSU Dance Company, performing in works by prominent choreographers, and just began her fourth season with Brady Michael’s RISK Contemporary Dance Company.

Beyond performance, Kaya is passionate about leadership and mentorship in dance. She is the founder and President of the KSU Club Dance Team, Talon Tribe, and teaches at multiple studios and schools around the Kennesaw area. In the studio and on stage, Kaya prioritizes artistry, authenticity, and vulnerability, inspiring dancers to connect deeply with movement as a form of expression.
